Both lovable and frustrating
The unique art nouveau character and high ceilings. Vincent's warm hospitality, along with the picturesque views of the lake added charm to my experience.
While the breakfast was good, it came with an extra charge.

The beautiful Art Nouveau architecture and the cozy ambiance created an lovely experience. Enjoying breakfast with a fine view of the nearby ponds was one of the highlights, and the owner's warm hospitality. The bathroom sink was less functional than expected, and some room features needed attention. Although breakfast was good, the extra charge felt a bit steep.

I appreciated the hotel overall. The property was a decent base for enjoying a beautiful area, adjacent to a nice neighbourhood next to a beautiful lake and cool restaurants and bars. The staff were genuinely helpful and affable all the time of my stay. The rooms were great-sized and unique with the most awsome bathrooms ever, a bathtub plus a wonderful view as described. The location was peaceful and handy and I could use public parking in front of the house. Found Brut with perfect drinks 400 metres away.

The location was excellent, not in the
City center but close enough to explore Brussels. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful street it's on, lined with shops and restaurants. I found the bathroom sink to be quite small and not very functional.

The beautiful Art Nouveau architecture creates a unique atmosphere.
The room had no air conditioning or fans. Leaving the balcony doors open to cool down brought in a swarm of insects, disgusting. The bathroom setup was frustrating. The sink hardly drained and the tiny size made it inconvenient.

Request a strong fan if it's warm. It made our stay much more comfortable despite the heat.

Loved being close to the park and easily visiting local bars. Vincent, the host, with freshly made breakfast and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely check out the nearby ponds. They're beautiful!
The only downside was that not everything worked perfectly in the room, but Vincent was quick to address it.
